Schutzhund:
Began training in Schutzhund in 1974, became a member of USA in 1976 and the SV in 1977.

Trained first dog (female GSD) to SchH I in 1977. Since then trained five GSD (three females) to Sch H 3. One GSD male also obtained FH. Three of these dogs competed in four National events, the 1992 and 1995 National Championships and the 1987 and 1993 North American Championships.

Earned both the USA and SV Master Sports Awards in 1994.
